Spirit Day is an international event to raise awareness of bullying and help prevent it in all forms. The day was started in 2010 as a response to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth who took their lives due to bullying. To get involved, paint your avatar purple, show support for your fellow deviants, spread the word, and submit your artwork to the gallery below to honor Spirit Day!

Drew a lil' something for Spirit Day today c: since I was bullied when I was younger. When I attended elementary and middle school, I was constantly bullied and teased on the way I looked, acted, and the way I draw. I was a chubby little girl with crooked teeth and I tried very hard to stay out of the crowd and secluded myself from everyone else, hoping that no one would tease me. I know that I've changed over the years (I now have braces and lost alot of weight c: ) but the way they bullied me was wrong. I never want anyone to go though what I've been through because in truth, it hurts. >: Bullying hurt my self confidence in me but I am working to build it up again. I'll get through it. c:
And I just wanna thank one of my biggest inspirations and supporters who is there for me.
My boyfriend and best friend, he has always been there for me and always bring me up during the times I feel down about myself. Always make me feel good about myself and more self esteem. c:>
