Coffee ShopEvery morning, Dimitri Heddrick stopped at a local cafe coffee shop called the Coffee Bean to get his morning cup of coffee before he went to work. He loved the coffee there; it was fresh brewed, the smell was nice, and they made it just the way he liked it (well...a few did).
He always ordered the same.
A fresh cup of coffee with two sugar cubes and a bagel, toasted with cream cheese.
Sometimes, while he waited, he would read the newspaper he got from his small apartment or stare from the glass window to outside, watching the bustling crowd of people getting to their jobs on time. Soon, his order came and he ate it, leaving a small tip after he was finished and went about his day at work.
It was like that for a month now. Wake up, shower, get dressed, grab his suitcase, drink his morning joe at the Coffee Bean, and go to work. Dimitri never thought his daily routine would change.
Until one rainy Thursday morning.
